Clean clean clean clean clean. Up for grabs the cleanest ’66 Gibson ES-330TDC thats come through the shop. This guitar is all original and looks as though it just walked off the line. The cherry finish is awe inspiring. For those wondering the nut is just a hair over 1 and 9/16ths. Although 330s look like 335 they are a bit different. The ES-330 model is a full hollow electric. It also sports two single coil dog ear P-90 pick ups as apposed to the humbuckers found on 335s. Since this is an earlier 330 the neck meets the body at the 16th fret instead of the 19ths (like a 335). It still has the same scale length of 24.75 inches. The TDC at the end of the model stands for Thin line (body depth) Double pick up (two P-90s in this case) and Cherry (referring to the gorgeous finish). It maybe due to our inner Elliott Smith fan but these guitars seem to hold a special place in our hearts down here at the PDX Thunder Road. Truly an amazing instrument.
