Description

Cleanest, best sounding unbound 58 I've ever seen or played. When I tell people how much I like the unbound 58 ES-335's, I usually get a puzzled look and a question about the shallow neck angle. The first 335's had a very shallow neck angle and used a lower profile ABR-1 which usually collapsed and was replaced by a full size ABR-1 that was slightly ground down. This one has its original low profile bridge and it works perfectly. I have a shaved ABR-1 for it as well to preserve the original but the original works perfectly and should hold up using light gauge strings. This guitar is near mint, 100% all original, no excuses and loaded with case candy-original hang tag, instruction sheets, case key and a full set of flatwounds in the orange Gibson box. This is a no issue, killer player, collector grade unbound 58. Yes, those are original tuner tips. It cracks my top ten for tone, too. This guitar is a monster. Super resonant (thin top without the usual cracks around the jack) and loud. Sealed PAFs. Original frets. Birdseye figure on the top. No checking at all. Only a few light scratches and a few dings in the headstock kee[ it from being mint. If I kept guitars, this would be a keeper. Original brown Gibson badged 5 latch case in excellent plus condition.
