1959 Gibson ES-335TDN Blonde

They made exactly 71 blonde 335's in 1959. I think the collectors have most of them by now. This is the first 59 I've had in a few years. It ticks all boxes. It is a thin top (58 FON) but it was clearly assembled in 59-good neck angle, sealed double white PAFs and big (original) frets. Neck is not the huge early 59 but not the later transitional one either. It's kind of in between-like a 64. I'd call it medium. I'd call the pickups huge (8.45K and 8.15K). This guitar makes my top ten for sure and maybe even my top five for tone. The tuner tips have shrunk so the original tuners are in the case and a set of repros is on the guitar. Super clean original brown case with some case candy (ABR-1 instructions, case key).
