What separates a really good dot neck from a great one? Most sound really great and play beautifully but some just seem to stand out from the crowd. This one checks all the boxes. Hot original PAFs (8.39K and 8.05K), a perfect neck profile (the same medium chunky neck as a late 59), some nice figure in the top but not too much, 9+ condition with no wear at all and only the lightest checking...you get the idea. The original shrunken tip tuners are in the case (also original) and can be re-tipped if desired. Early enough for "burst" knobs, single ring Klusons and bumblebees (and, of course, the bigger neck). Looks like it's been re-fretted.
