1960 Gibson ES-335 Sunburst, Very Good, Original Hard, $26,500.00

Very clean 1960 dot neck 335. With 58's and 59's running up in price lately, the logical place to look for a well priced dot neck is an early to midyear 1960. The neck still has some meat on it and the very desirable long guard is still in evidence. By the end of 1960, the neck would get blade thin and the long guard was gone. This one has a few minor issues to note. It had Grovers at some point but a correct set of single line double ring Klusons have been installed. There is an extra small screw hole next to the upper screw hole for the guard-not unusual and possibly a factory error and its under the guard so it isn't visible. This is a factory long guard for sure (the bracket is in a different place on a short guard version). PAFs have had the covers off at some point. The PAFs have good stickers and original windings. The guitar has been refretted with stock wire. Good original brown Gibson badged case.
