1960 Gibson ES-335 Sunburst, Excellent, Original Hard, $19,000.00

Early 60 ES-335's are a steal these days because 59's have gotten so pricey (everybody wants a 59, it seems). Especially the early ones that have the 59 features-bigger neck, the bonnet knobs, the shallow neck angle, the long guard, of course PAF's. This 60 is a bit unusual in that its never had stop tail stud holes drilled in it. This is a factory Bigsby only and they are pretty rare. You can count the 58-60's ES-335's and 345's that I have seen configured in this way on one hand. There are lots of them with Bigsbys but most have either the pearl or black dots over the holes or the "Custom Made" plate. The neck is not as big as a typical 59 but not the super slim later 60 either. More like a 64 than a 59 though. This one is in stunning 9.5 condition and is all original except for overspray on the back of the neck. Tuner tips are shrunken but still work. I can replace if you desire. Case is clean brown Lifton.
