1961 Gibson ES-335 Sunburst, Near Mint, Original Hard, $25,500.00

You don't see a lot of 61 ES-335's with the long pick guard. This is from January 61 and has a 60 factory order number meaning it was built in 60 and shipped in 61. Original everything right down to the frets. This is a no issue, collector grade dot neck that happens to sound great and plays great. The neck is wide -even for a 61 at 1.695". Profile is fairly slim and flat-very typical of late 60 and later. PAFs, of course. And, ten or 15 grand less than a 58, 59. Super light weigh at 7 lbs 6 ounces. Very clean original brown Gibson badged case.
