1962 Gibson ES-335 Red, Excellent, Original Hard, $19,000.00

One owner 1962 ES-335 with sealed PAFs. This guitar has been re-fretted and has been played most of its life but has very little wear. This guitar was well cared for. This guitar is one of the most resonant 335's I've ever encountered. Unplugged, it's as loud as most full hollow 330's. Not exactly sure why-it has the solid center block-no cutout. Plugged in, it's a stellar example. The neck is wide/slim as is typical of 62. The only issue is changed tuners-it had Grover Imperials (which don't leave marks on the front of the headstock). Now has correct single line double ring Klusons with a few new tips (I know one is single ring and will be swapped out). The nut has been replaced. Everything else appears to be original right down to the saddles. Original owner says that other than the tuners, nut and frets, nothing was touched. Awesome player. Original Gibson badged hard case.
