1962 Gibson ES-335 Red, Excellent, Original Hard, $19,000.00

All original 1962 block neck stop tail 335. Wide slim neck, one PAF and one patent number and factory stop tail. What's not to like. 62 was a great year for 335's. Tone wise they will hold their own with the more coveted (and expensive) dot necks. This is the "sleeper" year for 335's and they are just great. If you one of those who think a big fat neck is necessary for great tone, you haven't played a 62. There are two of them in my all time top ten of 335's. Condition is 9 out of 10 showing only slight wear on the neck. Not so clean that you'll be afraid to play it but clean enough to be an investment grade piece. Never had any parts changed-no Grovers, no Bigsby, no tuner tips, no changed pots. If originality matters, this is a great guitar at a great price. Clean black with yellow interior Lifton case.
