Description

It's pretty unusual to find a 335 with a factory installed Varitone and stereo circuit. Gibson offered the stereo VT circuit as an option on nearly all of their guitars but it makes you wonder why someone wouldn't just buy a 345. Maybe they didn't like big inlays or gold hardware. This 62 is all original except for the saddles. One PAF, One early patent. Never had a Bigsby or other tuners. The original no wire bridge was moved back slightly to improve intonation with light strings. If the frets were replaced, I want the name of the luthier who did it because they sure look original to me. With all original stop tail block neck prices moving north of $25K, this one is a bargain. keep the Varitone or remove it, it's still a great guitar either way. Condition is 8.5/10. Case is original Lifton with a replacement handle.
