1964 Gibson ES-335 Cherry Red

For sale is a late '64 Gibson ES-335. The "Bigsby" model ES 335s serialed in early 65 but with all 64 appointments were actually left overs from the recession year 1964. Nice wide fat neck, nichel hardware, early pat numbered pickups, even '64 headstock angle and 64 style pepple case. It is essentially a 1964 and 10k less!.

The guitar is all original except for perfect new frets and the back of the neck has been clear coated. It had a Bigsby on it.

At one point the guitar had a Roland synth pickup over the top, these were attached with four tiny screws and it is barely noticeable. What is noticeable is this a a bad MOTHER F__R! Has been my personal "squeeze" for years and is a fantastic and one of the best ones out there! Why would anyone play a Les Paul with these available? YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE, BUY ME!

There is typical light play wear and checking but never a repair. Overall the guitar is in excellent shape.

It only weighs 7 lbs., 16.6 oz !!!!

The pickup resistance - Neck: 7.68k, Bridge 7.55k.
