Description

This Gibson ES-335 was made in the USA in 1967. It sports a very worn and faded (but original) sparkling burgundy metallic finish. The finish has faded inconsistently and is a bit splotchy, although the overall effect of the burnt orange and red is attractive in a way. All of the parts are original although it did have other tuners on it at one point. Also, and quite mysteriously, this is the only thinline Gibson we have ever encountered where someone refinished the INSIDE of the guitar through the f-holes. The insides are indeed painted black and we have no idea why. The black went over the original label, and subsequently someone tried to scratch the black off that label with only minor success. However the serial number on the back of the headstock is intact and not tampered with. This guitar has been pro-setup and plays great. It comes with a non original ahrd case.
