1972 Gibson Es 335 Cherry Sunburst

A classic instrument and an exquisite piece with original case, is even better than I thought it would be when it got here. This is a "Solid Center Block" 335 as in the later 60's models. So this is closer to a 60's 335 than a 70's. Super clean, no fret wear and would be a closet queen. I just ran it for 20 minutes through a 68' Princeton Reverb...a spectacular guitar, very responsive. the clarity was wonderful.. mellow when you want it to be, kicks when you need it, awesome rythymn guitar smooth pups and super smooth controls too. This king of the semi-hollowbody guitar in a hard to find awesome condition and pretty cherry sunburst which has mellowed and aged perfectly. Almost no fret wear, this all original ES-335 with Gibson embossed pickups is in Ex. condition with only slight minor signs of wear for its age. The original Gibson embossed humbuckers sound excellent, are very thick, mellow, smooth...and punchy all combined with the woodiness of the semi-hollowbody, produce a wide range of amazing tones!
