We may be off by a year on the date here, but what the guitar is is clear: a terrific, mid-1970s Gibson ES-335, with all original parts. This is what Gibson called the “Country Rock” version, with an extra toggle switch up top as a coil-splitter for the bridge pickup. The pickups, btw, I’ve heard referred to as “Tar-back Humbuckers”, for the black sealant on the back of them, and were only made for a very short time. New frets and much better for it, way better than the crazy flat ones Gibson was using back then. An exceptionally cool guitar, with a smooth action from end to end; highly playable. $3995 w/ohsc
