1988 Gibson ES-335 Red, Excellent, Original Hard, $2,795.00

A classic reissue at a great price for minor cosmetics. These 1980s ES-Dot models have always been favorite ES-335s of our customers, darn close to one that actually is from the early 1960s without the $35K price tag. Got that great shallow contour super-comfy neck, got the right pickups, got the right balance, most surely got the tone. And when they’ve been set up right here in our own shop they got all the feel too. We detect some factory overspray on this one, no idea why, cannot find a single issue, has a minor streak the finish on the back and a bit of buckle rash but looks as deliciously Shameless Red as you’d hope for on the front, which as we all know is the Money Side. Bonus: Formerly owned by Duke, who had his own engraved, chrome-plated special name plate made for it and put right below the tailpiece. Gotta love that. Double bonus: "Glock Perfection” sticker on the case, removable. Duke plays like the smoothest dream, sounds like it too. Come and get him. $2795 w/ohsc
