Description

1997 Gibson ES-335 1959 Dot reissue, EXC condition, tobacco sunburst, nicely flamed top/back/sides, 100% original with OHSC. This is a one-owner guitar purchased from Daves Guitars in Wisconsin(receipt included), never gigged/never left the house. The guitar has been cleaned, polished, and includes a recent professional set-up with D'Addario XL 10-46 strings. This 335 needs nothing and is ready for play or display right out of the case!

I've had several late 90s 335s, and the thing I like about them is that the quality back then was really great - this would be equivalent to buying a Historic 59 from the Custom Division in Nashville today, and then some. You certainly don't get the nicely figured wood today like you did back then!

Serial # is 92537350: Year = 1997, built in the Nashville plant(350) on the 253rd day of the year(Sept 10). The guitar has some nicks and scratches, but is in very clean overall condition. Pass on a newer Memphis-built 335 and check this one out!
