Can you believe these are already ten years old? The Clapton 335 is, arguably, the best reissue ever done by Gibson. And the best 335 made since the 60's. They got almost everything right. The body shape (allegedly made by Terada in Japan), the neck, the color and finish...all spot on. OK, the pickup covers are something Gibson never gets right but the visuals are pretty darn close. This guitar feels like a real 64. Tone wise, it's close-as close as any modern guitar I've played. I think these were something like $14000 when they were released, although I'm not sure they sold for that much. If you've been waiting for the right one to come along, this might be the one. Virtually unplayed and low number (#41 out of 250) with all the case candy. Original "Cream" case.
