Description

Here we have a 1981 Gibson ES-335 Dot Reissue that is everything you could ask for in a Dot Reissue. First year that these were made! This one has all the signs of a well loved, often played guitar! Never abused, but this was clearly someone’s favorite. You really don’t see a Cherry finish on the first year models, this is a rare one.

Nickel Grover tuners. Comfortable 1 11/16 inch nut width. Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. Great neck profile with a depth of .80 inches at the first fret and .97 inches at the twelfth fret. Bound Rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets (in very good condition) and a 12 inch radius. A pair of awesome Tim Shaw Patent Number pickups with ink stamp. Non-original Nashville-style Tune-o-matic bridge. 5-ply black pickguard.

This one is a real workhorse that looks AND sounds the part. Comes with a modern hard shell case. Come and get it all you Gibson fans. You won’t be disappointed.
