I think the ES-335 Pro was a transitional model between the 70’s ES-335 TD with the Trapeze Tailpiece/small block inlays and the 1981 to current ES-335 Dot Reissue which was patterned after the original late 50’s design. Basically, the 335 PRO is a Dot Neck/Stop Tail 335 with the hotter Dirty Fingers pickups. This particular example is a clean, solid guitar with a fast neck and low action. Curiously, the Bridge “Dirty Fingers” is a T-top and is dated Jan 12, 1980, while the Neck “Dirty Fingers” is NOT a T-Top, and is dated Aug 11, 1980. Both pickups sound great, are well balanced, and appear to be original. Also, there has been some touch up work (not pretty) at the neck joint. I can’t tell for certain whether or not the neck has been re-set. Despite this, the guitar looks, plays and sounds great. Changed strap buttons. Non-original hard case.
