Thus Gibson has crafted this stunning Custom Shop Gibson 1961 ES-335 Reissue VOS semi-hollowbody electric guitar, complete in a Vintage Burst color with a nitrocellulose lacquer VOS vintage patina finish and a black wide bevel pickguard with a set of nickel hardware.

The expert craftspeople at Gibson Custom Shop have rendered every contour, profile, inlay and color of the priceless vintage models in magnificent detail. The 1961 Reissue ES-335 features a three-ply maple/poplar/maple body with a royalite binding, along with a solid mahogany neck boasting an authentic '61 skinny C-profile shape and a smooth and comfortable Indian rosewood fingerboard.

A pair of truly powerful Gibson Custombucker Alnico III unpotted pickups are installed, with two volume and two tone controls, along with CTS 500K audio taper potentiometers and paper-in-oil capacitors. Adjust your tone the way you want it with the three-way toggle switch. The light-weight aluminum stop bar tailpiece keeps your tuning stable and your intonation perfect.
