*Purchased by the vendor circa 1969 from his guitar teacher, this instrument was actively toured and well maintained throughout the 1970s and 1980s. During that time, it was re-fretted, and the original Kluson tuners were replaced. One coil in one of the pickups—believed to be the bridge pickup—was found to be open circuit and was subsequently replaced; the original coil remains in the guitar case. A Bigsby vibrato has been fitted and removed multiple times over the years. While there are vacant screw holes at the body end, the vendor opted to use leather pads to protect the top rather than securing the unit with screws.
