1966 Gibson ES-335 TDC with Bigsby in Cherry!

Nice player-grade 1966 Gibson ES-335. One piece mahogany neck with very nice feel. Cool factory stinger on the neck heel. The guitar had a solid minor headstock repair and neck reset in years past. It's super solid now and is a guitar that is ready to go for decades of more playing. This guitar really plays and sounds excellent! It has a really cool vibe that can't be replicated without 50+ years of natural aging.

The guitar has a recent refret and replaced fretboard inlays. 1-9/16" nut width with a profile that gets thick as you go down the neck. The neck measurements are 0.818"/0.988" at the 1st/12th. Very comfortable. The pickups are both Patent Number sticker, the neck pickup is likely slightly later and the bridge is original. The bridge is the original ABR-1 with newer saddles (the nylon saddles often break so this is an upgrade). The Bigsby was added at some point but looks great and works well. The tuners were restored to original Kluson double-line double ring.  The guitar has lots of wear and extensive finish checking as shown.

If you are looking for collector-grade, this is not it! If you are looking for an awesome player with a great vibe, here you go. I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a much better-playing 1966 ES-335. Comes with a nice newer TKL hardshell case.

Weight: 8.4 lbs.
