Between his work with the Allman Brothers and Gov't Mule, not to mention an extensive solo career and appearances with artists such as Phil Lesh & Friends and The Dead, Warren Haynes has spent over three decades as one of the hardest working players in the world of roots rock - and his 1961 Gibson ES-335 has seen him through it every step of the way. Body: Semi-hollow maple and poplar body made from individually matched cathedral pattern veneers and hand stained to match the original. Lightweight 1961 style maple center block provides ample resonance and satisfying sustain.

Neck: Hand-selected lightweight mahogany neck, shaped to match the original as perfectly as possible. The rosewood bound rosewood fretboard has 22 frets, pearl dots, Kluson Deluxe tuners with keystone knobs, 24 3/4” scale length and 1 23/32” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: With their tight lows, singing highs, and detailed midrange, Gibson BurstBucker pickups give this Warren Haynes Celebrity Series 1961 ES-335 the sound of PAFs in their heyday. There is a 3 way toggle, 2 volumes, 2 tones, tune-o-matic bridge and stop tail piece and lightly aged nickel hardware.

Cosmetics: There are a couple small nicks and scratches on the back and a small amount of finish crackling around the nut. This Gibson is in great shape, was really cared for and kept in its case when not in use.

Playability: The action has been set low by our in house luthier and the neck is straight. We have just strung it up with a new set of 10s and this Gibson is simply hard to put down. It is extremely resonant when played acoustically and that really comes across when plugged it as well.

Modifications: The capacitors have been changed to orange drops since the legs fell off the originals but they are in the case.
