100% ORIGINAL 1973 Gibson ES-335TD semi hollow body electric guitar in a beautiful TRANSLUCENT WALNUT FINISH - in excellent cosmetic condition for a 40+ year old guitar - comes with its original Gibson purple-lined hardshell case, also in excellent condition -serial number 182XXX, stamped 2. This is a wonderful playing and superb sounding vintage ES335, in the really cool darker Trans Walnut Finish. Some lovely grain there, too - and this Walnut is the classic finish of the early 1970s Norlin era. Condition-wise, there are very light scratches/swirls, and some very light dinks, and a few spots on the back where there is some light 'worming' - probably from a 70s era Levis' jean rivet! Otherwise, she is in GREAT shape. Frets are in really good shape, too - looks like they have been dressed - so she has that 'low/fat' fret feel to her - super playable as is, especially with that 70s slender neck carve. All parts and pickups are original, and these twin 'Patent Number Sticker' Gibson humbuckers are absolutely killer in the tone department - super buttery clean tones, and thick and throaty when overdriven. She has the six digit stamped serial number, with Made in USA, and she is stamped '2' - why, we are not sure. We see a lot of these 335s come in, and many are modified. This one is bone stock and original, and is a killer player. We have lots of additional photos - feel free to call 859-261-5500 for an in hand description. Thanks!
