This is perhaps the cleanest blonde 335 I've seen in a decade. This beauty was played but somebody loved it and took care of it like it was his child. There is some player wear to the sides of the neck but nowhere else. The finish shines like it just left the factory and shows no checking and no scratches or significant dings. There is some light buckle worming on the back but nothing through the finish. It is too light to show up in a photo. I would call the condition a 9+. It is all original except for the frets and the tuner tips. No wire ABR-1, short seam lightweight stoptail, long studs, "burst" knobs, single line single ring tuners, long guard and, of course, sealed PAFs. Pickups read 8.1K and 8.25K. Neck is slim but not the later blade neck. It measures a comfy .82" at the first fret and .885" at the 12th. Width is 1 11/16" at the nut. The one significant issue is the presence of filled holes at the endpin from a floating Bigsby. No holes in the top. Never had other tuners. Tone wise, this is a really bright and loud guitar. Crank up the treble on the bridge pickup and it sounds almost like an Esquire or Tele. You can, of course, dial it back if twang isn't your thing. The neck pickup is bright as well but not overly so and isn't muddy at all. There is some very pretty birdseye figure in the top that doesn't photograph. Case is brown with pink interior and Gibson badge.
