This has to be one of the coolest all original 345’s from Gibson’s most famous “last hurrah” because by mid-1969 they changed in so many ways, this has our favorite period optional Ice Tea Sunburst finish & has a magnificent appearance, its choice of maple used is not completely figured, but is has some wonderful grain patterns, some flame & a bunch of swirls to its makeup, its 2 pat.# stickered Humbuckers are beautiful in their tone, the Stereo/Varitone unit has a nice selection of tone settings, its double parallelogram inlaid rosewood bound 3 piece mahogany neck is slim but full sized having NO volute nor any “made in the USA” stamp, its all original from its Kluson Deluxe tuners to its trapeze tailpiece, all gold hardware is nicely faded & matches its overall cool patina, its Orange label is one of the last of its type, what makes this 345 so special is its truly beautiful & dead original in all respects, it comes delivered in its matching near mint black tolex/yellow lined hard case.
