1959 Gibson ES-345 Sunburst, Near Mint, Original Hard, $18,000.00

This mid year 59 ES-345 is so clean, I thought it was a reissue when I opened the case. The gold is 95% there which is unusual even for the really clean ones. Early enough for the black VT ring but late enough for the transitional neck that so many folks call "perfect". Not huge like a first rack 345 and not too flat like a very late 59. Two sealed PAFs, original stereo VT circuit, original Kluson tuners with original buttons (unusual for a 59). Two are slightly shrunken but still completely functional. Never had other tuners. Original stop tail-never had a Bigsby. Original no wire ABR-1, original saddles. It has be re-fretted. Original brown case.
