Description

Somehow, this 1959 ES-345 survived the past 62 years in almost perfect condition. Not a check anywhere, no wear except to the gold (so you know its been played). The guitar shines like new-call it a 9.5/10. This is a December 59 so it has the "transitional" medium neck profile which has become very popular. The huge neck early 59's are great but not everyone is comfortable playing one. This measures .83" at the first fret and .93" at the 12th. The guitar is completely original. It left the factory as a stop tail and had a sideways vibrato added by the dealer. A sideways leaves no holes in the top and the four holes at the endpin are brilliantly filled-you can't see them from 6 inches away. The original hang tag is included and shows "Gibson Vib." handwritten on it. Pickups are original PAFs. The neck is a zebra and has been opened to flip the magnet for in phase mono operation. The guitar has been converted to 335 spec. The original harness is in the original brown Stone case. Case key and ABR-1 instructions too. This is an excellent player and a beauty as well. It has some light figure to the wood which looks even better in person.
