1959 Gibson ES-345. A golden-era thinline semi-hollowbody Gibson! The ES-345 was the next step up from the standard ES-335 with the addition of gold hardware, split parallelogram inlays and the varitone tone control. This one is in great shape with the exception of some light cosmetic finish wear and pitting on the gold hardware. Recently re-fretted by Mark Tossman and feels fantastic. The neck pickup has been replaced with an era-correct gold PAF, most likely from a ’50s Gibson archtop (narrower pole spacing). This ES-345 is an excellent player with a lively tone from the combination of the vintage PAF humbuckers and airy, resonant body. A very versatile instrument with a wide range of great sounds! Includes original hardshell case.
