1959 Gibson ES-345 Sunburst

Later 59 ES-345's have a different neck profile than you might expect. The huge round neck that most folks associate with 59 Gibsons was phased out by the Fall of 59 for the most part. But, while this is a late 59, it still has some serious heft to the neck. Definitely not the "transitional" neck I expected. This one measures .87" at the first fret and .98" at the 12th. This 345 still has its original stereo/ Varitone circuit. I can convert it to 335 spec if requested ($300) It had different tuners at some point but now has a vintage correct set of Klusons. There was an extra strap button that has been removed and the hole filled at the heel. Frets have been replaced. Other than the tuners (correct), harness and frets, it is all original. Condition is 9-/10. PAFs have full stickers but one has been opened.
