"First Rack" ES-345 1959. These were the earliest 345's and are somewhat different than later 59's. Huge neck profile, smaller center block cutout, "short leg" PAF. Reverse zebra in the bridge. Normal zebra in the neck. Folks call them "burst killers" and with good reason. These are some of the best sounding guitars ever built. These don't come up for sale often (there were only around 100 of them) and are a big collector favorite. This one (I have two) retains its original stereo/Varitone wiring. All original except for the frets. Tuner buttons are deteriorated but still work-they are fragile and should eventually be replaced. There was an area of overspray on the back only that has been expertly (and completely) buffed out. Original brown case.
