Description

Although you see the entire guitar here, I am selling only the husk-body and neck-NO PARTS except for a modern case to ship it in. This is a 61 ES-345 that was shipped with a sideways Vibrola so there are no extra holes in the top. The stop tail holes are factory drilled. There are four small holes at the butt end from the Vibrola. Neck is wide and thin profile typical of 1960. Guitar plays very well with no issues. Guitar is in 9/10 condition and the frets are original. There is are two small areas of case rash on the rim of the guitar on the bass bout. Guitars this nice don't usually get parted out but I need the parts for a blonde project 345. This is your chance to wade slowly into the vintage guitar market. Load it up with repro parts until you can find and/or afford the real ones. Most repro stuff is really good nowadays anyway, so maybe just a set of PAFs or early patents and you'll be good as new or good as old I should say. Option: I will sell the guitar with the original stereo harness intact and in place. The pickups in a stereo guitar are soldered directly to the three way switch which you can do without removing the harness from the guitar. Add $800 for the harness with Varitone. It's almost worth that much to not have to try to put it back in.
