FIRST....the GOOD STUFF ----EVERY part on this guitar is original.
Not ONE changed screw....nothin'.
(MOST of these have had the pickups messed with and/or the vari-tone dissected).
8 lbs 9 oz. NO CRACKS or BREAKS.
Set-up was just done and frets dressed/crowned/and polished. They're GREAT!
Neck depth at 1st fret - 0.78", at 12th 0.97".Nut width 1 5/8".
Action is GREAT (as shown).
There are a few dings and scratches all around.
*There's a scrape on back of neck (behind 5th fret) we had filled
.SOMEHOW the original owner managed to "burn" the finish (NOT the wood) on the UPPER backside of the headstock.
We got the guitar from his son and he doesn't know how it happened, so we can't tell you how.(have theories though.....).
We had it touched up, saving the serial number and integrity of the instrument.
Getting the color to match perfectly was impossible, but HEY! It's pretty good, and now won't flake off!
Comes with structurally sound (but tolex is worn on edges) Early '70's Gibson case, OR recent one.
