This guitar weighs 9lb even.

This 2002 Gibson ES-345 is in excellent cosmetic condition showing some signs of play wear throughout which is to be expected from a 20 year old instrument and is nothing significant - mainly just a some small pick scratches on the pickguard, some very small swirl marks in the finish and some tarnishing of the gold hardware. This 345 has a medium chunky 60s style neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width, nice pronounced shoulders and a flatter center. This neck is exceptionally comfortable and easy to play. The frets on this instrument show some wear (mainly the first two frets) but have lots of life left and this Gibson plays great up and down the fingerboard with low action and great intonation with no dead spots or buzzing. The original pickups sound tremendous and have a very woody yet articulate tone that works perfectly for overdriven and clean sounds alike. A truly great instrument for rhythm and blues to Chet style to rock. All of the electronics are in perfect working order including the Varitone switch and both output jacks and this instrument can be played in either Mono or Stereo. Although I have played and sold some truly outstanding Nashville built Electro Spanish guitars, I tend to really dig these Memphis built models. If you are searching for a great playing and sounding ES-345, then this 2002 Memphis built example is a very fine candidate. A gem of a guitar shipped safely and promptly from our little shop in Clarksville, Tennessee, to your front door.
