Description

This guitar looks brand new. It's 60 years old and looks every bit of, uh, brand new. There is no checking at all. Zero. There are two tiny dings in the top and a tiny scratch that doesn't go through the finish on the back. Those are the only marks on the guitar. The gold, however shows that the guitar has been played. There is wear to both pickup covers and a little to the bridge. The tailpiece and tuners show no wear to the gold. Both pickups are PAFs with good stickers. One of the pickup covers (bridge) is from a later guitar. It appears to have been out of the guitar and reinstalled with a splice to the wire. It has not been re-wound (I checked). That's the only issue of note. The case looks to be from 63-65 (plastic handle). A 62 would normally have a metal handle but these were such low volume sellers, it could have been sold as late a 65. No way to know. Anyway, terrific player if you like the short ES-350/Byrdland scale. The neck is slim but wide.
