Description

Somebody must have loved this guitar. 57 years old and it looks like it was bought last year. The original cherry red finish shows no fading at all. The front is stunning. The back some noteworthy scratches and somerthing reacted with the finish in a few places-it doesn't really photograph-probably a coil cord. We'll call it a very conservative 9. I'd be calling it near mint if I was only looking at the front. Everything is original. The guitar has no issues other than missing stickers on the pickups (not unusual in 64). The neck pickup has a partial, the bridge pickup has no sticker at all. Being a gold hardware 64, it is possible that they are PAFs but we'll call them early patents since the only difference between late PAFs and early patents is the sticker. The gold hardware is in unusually clean condition with only light wear to the pickups and minor wear to the tremolo. The original pick guard shows no deterioration (tortoise guards often disintegrate). Case is as clean as the guitar. This guitar is priced to move, so don't snooze.
