Before the current Gibson designation of “Custom Shop – Historic Reissues”, in 1998, Gibson used the marketing term: “Custom Shop-Custom Art & Historic”. This is one of the Early Gibson Reissues meant to signal a return to quality after their long demise.
This twenty four year old Gibson Custom Shop guitar has been collector housed since new in unplayed condition.
It is in collectors condition with original case and includes the original “Gibson Gold Warranty” mail in card and pamphlet from the Nashville shop. Inspected by “R.H.”
A beautiful collectors condition example, all original, in fantastic shape. Includes the original brown Gibson case and the inspection pamphlet that includes the date and serial number. These preceded the certificates that Gibson later issued.
