1986 is considered by many to be the end of the Norlin Era, while 1987 brought us the Re birthing of Gibson Guitars. Late 80's Gibson Guitars are some of the highest quality instruments the company has produced to date. This Lucille is Exceptional with Zero Fret Wear, a perfect neck set for extremely low action and the Patent # Pickups have aged to a Beautiful Bloom. It is 100% Original. Not even strap locks had been added. The hard ware shows a vintage patina while there’s checking starting to occur.
