1959 Gibson ES-355 Mono Red, Very Good, Original Hard, $21,000.00

This is the pretty much the holy grail of 355's (unless you can find a stop tail which is unlikely-they only made around 8 of them). ES-355's had big fat necks in 1958 and early 59. Big and fat like a 58 Les Paul or a 58 335. Even before they started slimming down the 335's and 345's, they slimmed the ES-355 so that most 59's have a medium slim neck. But if you're lucky, you'll find one of the ten 58's or one of not very many early 59's with that glorious monster of a neck. this guitar has a 58 factory order number. Double white in the bridge, zebra in the neck. The back of the headstock (stinger only) was resprayed. There are no breaks. Original fairly beat up brown case.
