1960 Gibson ES-355 Mono Red, Excellent, Original Hard, $20,000.00

Mono ES-355's from 58-60 are pretty rare to begin with. They only made 315 of them during those years, so if you're looking for one, don't wait too long. This one is 100% original. It shows wear on the back (buckle rash) and one spot on the front on the treble side horn-probably from a jazz guy resting his hand there. The frets look to be original which leads me to believe it spent its life with flatwounds. Wear on the back of the neck shows its been played plenty. There is some slight deterioration to the guard but that's pretty normal. It is totally stable. Original unopened PAFs of the double white variety. Photos show a repro guard. The original long guard is back on. The neck is pretty good sized for the era. First fret measurement is .83" which is bigger than most-they are usually .79" to .81"
