Description

This is a fantastic Gibson ES-355 that was made by Gibson in the USA in 1962. This is an original mono es-355 which makes it way more usable and desirable than the stereo versions. The guitar shows play wear but no breaks or repairs, just small dings and dents that would be expected on a 60 year old guitar. This guitar is all original except for the Bigsby. This one originally came with a sideways so there are a few extra holes where the tailpiece mounts however the far more usable Bigsby is old and era correct so this may have happened when new or shortly thereafter. The guitar has also been refretted but now plays like a dream. The pickups are original but there are no stickers on the pickups so not clear if they were PAF or patent sticker however the pots date to late 1961 so there would be virtually no difference in a PAF or Patent Sticker in this time period. The guitar plays and sounds great and weighs a slim 8 lbs 1.3 oz. It comes with the original case.
