1969 Gibson ES-355 Mono Blonde/Natural, Excellent, Original Hard

HOLDThis ultra rare blonde mono ES-355 was a factory custom order. Blonde was never a standard color on 355's and they are incredibly rare. I know of only five others from 59-69 and all of them have been stereo except this one. Presenting the only mono blonde vintage ES-355 I have ever seen and it's a beauty. By 1968, blonde finish ES models were birch plywood which looks nice but is pretty plain. This one is maple and has some very nice figure to it. That's good news. More good news? OK, the tailpiece is a Bigsby. The only other 69 blonde 355 I've seen had a Maestro and you probably know which is the preferred one. Original everything. I would wager that the pickups are pre T-tops but they've never been opened so I can't say for sure. Gold ES's from the late 60's often had the last of them. Those aren't the original knobs-the original witch hats are included.
