A wonderfully original 1963 Gibson “Everly Brothers” Model Flat-top in Black! The Everly Brothers saw extraordinary success in the 1950s, with hits like “Bye Bye Love,” and “Wake Up Little Susie,” and certainly cemented their fame as one of the greatest musical duos of all time. Their country influenced rock and roll harmonies and rhythmic guitar had a massive influence in the years that followed. As a result of their success, Gibson produced the Everly Brothers Model from 1962-1972, and was later reissued as the J-180 model in 1986. This guitar’s top is made from spruce, with maple back and sides. Pearl star inlays adorn the headstock and rosewood fretboard, and a gorgeous double tortoise pickguard completes the look! The resonance on this guitar is astounding, and it has a deep, full tone. This particular guitar has the much rarer style of bridge where each string is fed through the bridge itself. The neck profile is a nice medium carve, great for most players!

It weighs in at 5 lbs 3 oz, and comes with later Epiphone hard case.
