Description
Summary: The Gibson Firebird rocks a reverse body and headstock design as originally introduced in 1963 and was Gibson's first neck-through-body design. The traditional mahogany neck through body construction provides rich, warm tonality and incredible sustain. A slim taper neck with a rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot fingerboard inlays. This Firebird is outfitted with a single mini humbucker to recapture the scorching output and searing tones of the original voice for which the Firebird is known.

Body: Mahogany with a light blue finish.

Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75۝ scale length, 1.694۝ nut width, 22 frets, pearl dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Single mini humbucker, 3-ply white pickguard, master volume/master tone control, wraparound tailpiece, Grover tuning keys, chrome pickup cover.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. The back of the neck is clean and smooth, and the frets are in great shape.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 6.99 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships in the hard-shell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
