1963 Gibson Firebird III Natural Players Special Stripped Plays & Sounds Amazing
This vintage original 1963 Gibson Firebird III is really a players special with superb playability and tone at less than 1/2 the price!
The finish is stripped and the guitar has been routed for humbuckers. No cracks or breaks. Just pure tone.
The pickups are newer re-issue mini humbuckers and they sound incredible. Super warm and punchy organic tones. Screaming with distortion. You can see the routes for the humbucker pickups under the minis.
Tuners are newer, they are high quality Firebird banjo tuners like the original ones.
Original pots and tailpiece. Tremolo works great and the guitar stays well in tune.
Plays better than most Firebirds we have had, this really is a great playing example.
It is a particularly light and resonant example.
Comes with a good vintage hard case that fits her well.
