There is a long list of Great Firebird Players, but when we talk of The Firebird III the one that comes to mind is Allen Collins. This Gibson Custom Shop '64 Firebird III will deliver the scorching tones on Johnny Winter found on his studio recording of "Still Alive and Well."

As close to new as you can get! The integrity of the instrument is 100% spot on Free of Repair or Alteration. It is a Resonant Feather Weight at just 8 Pounds! The Frost Blue is just starting to turn. My guess is one day it will become Inverness Green of close to it in color.

Electronics are factory wired in the configuration of a PRS Pre Lawsuit Singlecut. The Volume Knobs are on top and the Tone Knobs Below. On most Gibson's the guitars are wired Volume/ Tone on Top for the front pickup and Volume /Tone on he bottom for the rear pickup.

Pickups Read 11.7 Ohms and 15.6 Ohms, so it's HOT!
