This fabulous Gibson Flying V was made in the USA in 1967. Gibson only produced 175 Flying V guitars between 1966 and 1969 and most have been modified or repaired. Its original slightly faded very desirable Tobacco’burst finish is in very cool patinated shape over some nice mahogany grain patterns. Its dot inlaid rosewood fingerboard has original frets w/a 1 piece Mahogany neck w/no volute & a 2 piece stunning body. Its has its original white multi-ply pickgard showing many crack repairs but is very stable overall. Its got some weather checking but is completely uncracked & very collectible. Its loaded w/a pair original of factory pat.# stickered Humbuckers. She has her original pots dated to the 30th week in 1966. She has her original Kluson tuners, its tun-a-matic bridge, its chrome capped knobs & its short Maestro Vibrola. This is a great guitar for that guy that wants to enjoy it for the next 56 years ! This Flying V was owned by a good friend for a few decades. Other than 2-3 tiny screw holes very finely touched up years ago, she’s an excellent 100% original in all respects & comes w/its nice original square shaped yellow lined hard case.
