Description

Mid to late 60's Flying V's are rare and they are expensive. They only made around 175 of them and they don't come up for sale that often. This one has issues but it's an excellent player with some interesting history. It was special ordered in yellow with a black guard (last two photos). Over the years, the headstock was cracked and it was expertly refinished in cherry (by Jam City Guitars). The parts are all original or correct. It did have different tuners at some point. The repair is nearly invisible. Pickups are patent number-probably pre T-top. The serial number is still readable. The case is from a '70's Flying V. It plays well and looks just great. A no issue 60's V will cost you at least $50K if you can find one. The last two photos are as it looked when it left the factory.
