Description

Vintage original 1981 Gibson Flying V.

No cracks, no breaks, all original. Nice and light and resonant.

All wiring and electronics are original. Features original Patent Number pickups and original pots dated '78!

Neck is straight and plays great all the way up and down. Lots of sustain. Frets are in very good condition with plenty of life to them and she plays great.

Original Gibson tuners.

There are signs of wear from where there were stickers on the guitar that have been removed, and some tape that left some line marks. It actually looks really cool, it is hard to see the wear in the photos....some light marks from there was a sticker on the guitar for a long time, and some line marks from where tape was left on the guitar for a long time, this has all been cleaned up.

This guitar was purchased from the original owner who had it since '81 and played it in many bands throughout New York City. He kept it in good condition and with all the rocking out he never broke the jack or the headstock, he actually took very good care of it.

You can tell this guitar was really loved, and for good reason.

A really nice original example.

Comes with original hardshell case that has lots of cool stickers and newspaper clips on it.
