The future is now! For you consideration a 2017 Gibson Flying V T in Ebony. Originally designed in 1957, the Flying V is easily the most popular guitar from Ted McCarty’s modernist guitar line (Explore and Moderne being the other two). It was an attempt to add a more futurist look to the Gibson brand. The T in the model stands for Traditional! Classic Flying V look and no G-force tuners or push-pull pots! Gibson Dirty Fingers pick ups give this V a beastly sound!

Specs! This guitar is all original and is in excellent condition. Chrome Grover Rotomatic tuners. Nut width measures 1-11/16″. Mahogany neck with a depth of .82″ at the first fret and .86″ at the twelfth fret (slim taper, D shape). 24.75″ scale length. Grenadillo fingerboard with a 12″ radius. Action measures 5/64″ on the bass side and 4/64″ on the treble side. The original 22 Jumbo frets are in excellent condition. Mahogany body finished in Ebony. Two Gibson Dirty Fingers pick ups (Hot!). Original wiring. Nashville Tune-o-Matic bridge with stop bar tail piece. Comes with its original hard shell case and paper work. Weighs 6 pounds and 5 ounces.
